Overview.
Cipriani Bellini is the original Bellini cocktail, invented by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1948 in Harry’s Bar, Venice. It is crafted with the finest Italian Prosecco and white peach purée and delivers an outstanding taste experience. Served in memorable blue bottles, their Bellinis are available with and without alcohol.

The challenge.
Despite their strong history in Italy, Cipriani’s journey in the UK was in its infancy when we first started working together. They had no routes-to-market in place and no major customers. Our team needed to build from the ground up.
- Distribute to more wholesalers
- Engage with end users
Our approach.
Cipriani’s key strength as a brand is its authentic Italian heritage, so initially we prioritised Italian restaurant groups. We immersed ourselves in the brand story, emphasising the quality and USPs of the product. With a great tasting pre-mixed product such as this, restaurants didn’t have to compromise on service or taste.
Strong relationships.
Having sold into PizzaExpress before, we knew that the development team would want to review Cipriani Bellini. They were particularly impressed with the Virgin Bellini (a non-alcoholic cocktail), and they agreed to launch the product across their full UK&I estate for Autumn/Winter 2023/24. It’s performed very well and they’ve since decided to keep it on the menu for Spring/Summer 2024.
New routes to market.
Within a year of working together we secured a three SKU core-listing with Brakes Group. Having a Brakes core listing has since unlocked several new opportunities for Cipriani by allowing us to reach out to Brakes’ huge customer base.
A flexible approach.
Our focus is always on securing face to face meetings to ensure we make a strong impression and build rapport with buyers. We met with key decision makers across the hospitality industry to pitch Cipriani Bellini, securing meetings with both national hospitality operators and their respective wholesalers.
